Yes, yes, I’ve been a slacker about updating things here. What can I say, I can only move so many people before I just need to hide under a rock so my body can recover. First I help Jay move here which was a 2 day marathon. The loading and unloading wasn’t so bad, the need to drive 55/60 on the highway when I could be going 90, that was a bit traumatizing 😉
Once that was done mom’s friend is moving so I end up at her house. I’m told before we go that she’s almost packed and ready, yeah sure. We had a pick up to move the boxes and a moving company was going to come for the furniture so we took 3 loads of stuff, IN THE RAIN (nice) oh joy, oh rapture.
Now of course its my turn. I’ve slowly been digging out all my “stuff” from the attic and the kitchen is starting to look like someone ate some Ivy and then got sick all over. My plates have ivy, and I think I have every matching piece, the towels match as do the table linens, the tea pot, candle holders… you get the idea 😀 Oh and the cutting board LOL I’m not rushing this one though, every day some gets moved and at some point I have to move the furniture, ick. Since I have no interesting photos to share of anything we’ll substitute this nice photo on Indy. HE seems to think this is a good place to ride while in a car… dogs 😉
A new security patrol in our area *snicker* Indiana is patroling the kitchen floor for dropped bits of food, bugs and anything else that he might feel the need to snack on. Come on now, you know you laughed at the 10lb dog in a “Security” hat. I know I did 🙂 I’ve never been much for putting clothes on my dog but the hat was just priceless, now he has a nice hat the help keep the sun out of his eyes hee hee
I am happy to say I’ve finally gotten myself a pup of my own 🙂 This is Indiana, he’s 4 and I got him from a rescue in Indiana. He had a different name *cough* but since he wasn’t answering to it and I didn’t like it we kinda changed it 🙂 Here he is being the ferocious doxie that he is trying to grrr the blanket into submission!
I really did do some stitching, on the way down to pick him up I finished the lady bug from my Bent Creek mini’s but I forgot to take a picture, I was a little distracted. Can you imagine why? 🙂 Hope you all had great weekends!
And now we just need a post for the ruler here where I live. She just came back from a very traumatic day at the groomers so I quick took a few shots before she was covered in sticks and leaves.
Oh yes looks all cute and innocent doesn’t she? This is a bit more typical of what we see daily around here, ha ha. A walking dust mop is what she is. Good thing she’s cute with all that hair. It might act like velcro but she just would’t be the same cut. Too bad I can’t just have her clean the leaves up in the fall.
